2010framejig.jpg

For 2010 I've updated my frame jig.  I've added additional stand off and removed some of the mass from the base plate giving you better access to the joints for tacking.  I've also modified the head tube slide assembly, increasing the vertical and horizontal motion.  The base of the jig starts out as a 1" cast aluminum plate blanchard ground to insure a perfectly flat surface to build the jig up from.  Like the previous version the new jig locates and HOLDS all the tubes at the proper centerline distance off the jig base.  All tube contact points are steel and all aluminum parts are black hard anodized to ensure smooth action and durability.

All measurements and angles are direct reading on the jig.  No rulers or formulas are needed to figure out how to set up the jig.  Tube blocks hold the down tube and top tube in position allowing you to remove other tubes without having everything reset the whole frame.  the frame is also plumbed for argon at the head tube, seat tube, and BB with a switch to turn the argon off and on to conserve gas.

Built in rulers read vertical height of head tube and front center off frame regardless of head tube angle making jig set up quick and easy.  Dual vee slides allow for smooth and accurate vertical and horizontal motion of head tube assembly.
